Cruising zone Southern Brittany, France 

French Brittany is a magnificent scenic sailing area, rich in culture, historical places, known for its gastronomy, its friendly climate or the special light many well-known painters have captured on their paintings.
 
We propose cruises to learn sailing, enhance your navigational skills or mileage cruises to obtain your yachtmaster certificate starting from Pornichet (Southern Brittany) in a demanding sailing zone that leaves nothing left to be desired.
 
Following points are dealt with:

    • Chart navigation
    • Tidal calculation
    • Sea current calculation
    • Manoeuvers
    • Seamanship
    • Weather
    • Night navigation (if desired)

Sailing is discovering ! Taravana proposes two mileage cruises which will allow you to obtain the necessary nautical miles for your offshore yachtmaster certificate.

Cruising programme 2009 :  training cruises, mileage cruises (chart navigation, tidal calculation, manoeuvres, etc.)

09th  - 16th October 2010 complete
 Training- und mileage cruises in Southern Brittany, boarding and check-out in La Trinité sur mer, approx. 250 - 300 NM

 

Price per person:

1 week:       550 € + cash till

included in the rate:
- accommodation in double cabins
- training
- skipper
- bedlinen (pillow, sheets, covers)

not included:
- trip to/from boat  
- Cash till approx. 100 € per week and person covering food, drinks, marina fees, diesel, etc.), but no alcoholic drinks or visits to bars, restaurants or personal expenses
